About

"Dash The Henge Store was borne out of true South London community connection, love and spirit.
It was a slow burner by way of people connecting via small independent venues such as the Earl Ferrers (Streatham), which amongst many things hosted the Avant Practiced jam just after Covid lockdowns ended, and many many gigs at The Windmill (Brixton), The Old Dispensary (Camberwell) and more latterly The Bear (Camberwell).
This brought an intergenerational melting pot of music and music lovers together and somehow a spark ignited a little pink flame that has now become a big fluoro pink labelled record store!
It is a cultural hub beyond being a record store and hosts music and music related events most nights of the week drawing people now from all over London.
The record curation is spot on and there is a perfect mix of old and new, ranging from proto-punk, through dub to futuristic electronica. I’m more than a fan, and you should be too!"
