All human life is in London. But beneath the surface lies a shadow world of druids, mystics, magicians and witches. Welcome To The Dark Side, written by Kate Hodges, is your introduction to that hidden realm.
This large-format map charts centuries of occult activity: the headquarters of the Golden Dawn, Aleister Crowley’s temples, the spot where William Blake saw angels, and even where William Burroughs launched a psychic attack after eating an unsatisfactory cheesecake.
For students of the occult, it highlights shops to buy spells and magical books, as well as libraries and museums for deeper study.
Also included is A Guide To Magickal Tools For The Aspiring Occultist, written by Tree Carr, a checklist of tools for those wishing to take their exploration of the subject beyond the physical realm.
This is London, but not as you know it: Welcome To The Dark Side.
