X-ray 7” single with lino print sleeve

Inspired by the bone music movement during the Cold War, I had ‘Beacon’ hand-lathe cut to 7” transparent vinyl discs and then spliced n stuck them onto genuine used X-ray film. I wanted to cut straight to the X-Ray but it turns out we don’t use the same materials anymore - plus it would have sounded trash whilst only lasting a couple of days.

I then asked my ma to design some prints for the sleeves which l hand pressed with my grubby claws. Every print is unique, every disk totally different, full of imperfections and human error, much like the music.

Only 30 of these exist.
