This is heavenphetamine’s first full studio album—a raw and evocative work born from days spent in Georgia and Ukraine, reflecting the anguish and resilience faced amidst Russia's full-scale invasion. Recorded in Kyiv in December 2022 by two Japanese and two Ukranian musicians, the album captures the unsettling atmosphere of disrupted life. Power outages, missile alarms, and time spent in shelters while recording shaped this album, creating a visceral kind of journalism beyond traditional reporting. Within these tracks, you’ll find fear, rage, sorrow, and hope—the intense emotions that war brings.

We want listeners to dance, to find joy in the music, but also to listen deeply, remembering those still under the shadow of drones and missiles.
